Identify
Before we can address your concerns you will need to have your lesions(s) seen by a medical professional. You have three options; 1) You can have your diagnosis with us, this service starts at £350 and can increase depending on the number of lesions. 2) You can contact your local GP practice and ask for the lesion to be identified, we find that this can often be carried out over email (if it is benign or malignant), this service is free. 3) Seek a separate independent diagnosis.
We do not require a referral letter, though you will be asked to confirm that you have had the lesson(s) looked at by a medical professional. We do not carry out biopsies at C.C.C, though we can place you in contact with a practice that can provide that service. In the event that you have chosen to have your lesions assessed where we let you know during a consultation if we think you should seek a second opinion.
Consultation
During your detailed assessment and consultation, we will provide you with your treatment options and all information that you will need to make an informed choice including treatment walkthroughs, video of treatments being carried out, cost, potential outcome and risks. The enthuses here to place you in the position of giving informed consent, ask anything.
Your treatment date
There is sufficient time allocated for your treatment, we do not rush. All treatments are walk-in/walk-out. There is seldom an occasion where we advise you not to drive but it is always worth checking. You can book your treatment without seeing us for a consultation, however, if we are unable to go ahead for any reason that would have been raised during your consultation or you are not able to state that the lesions have been seen by a medical professional you will be charged for the appointment in full.
After your treatment we will go through your aftercare once more, this is also emailed to you. It is more than likely that you will also be given products that will assist you during your healing period.
follow-up
You are given a complimentary follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after your treatment. In most cases this will be sufficient healing time for the surface of your skin, you are likely to see further improvements in the coming months. A vast majority of our before and after photos are within the first 6 weeks of treatment.

Service Components
Consultation
A thorough consultation is carried out before any treatment here at Cambridge Contour Clinic. It is an opportunity for us to fully discuss your specific skin concerns, run through a health questionnaire to ensure you are suitable for treatment, and answer any questions you may haveQuote
We will gather enough information to provide you with a fixed quote for the treatment or per fixed-interval/treatment, in the cases of phototherapy, cryotherapy for example.
Treatment
Treatment will be carried out occording to the agreed treatment plan which has been discussed and agreed, we allocate ample time so there is no need to rush. If you need to take a minute, that's ok with us.Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy emits a fine jet of N2O under high pressure, which allows works to millimetre precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, crystallising the fluid, which ruptures the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be little collateral damage to healthy tissue.
Microplasma
Our specialist surgically graded micro-plasma device utilises micro-plasma technology which involves the ionisation of gases, present between the device and tissue to be treated, to create a small electrical beam called a plasma arc. This arc vaporises (causes sublimation - the process of turning a solid straight into a gas, transferring no heat to surrounding tissues) the superficial targeted tissue to an accuracy of approximately 0.02 millimetres.
Lancing / Extraction
This is carried out in a way to ensure there is minimal irritation, damage or spread of infection on the face.
Aftercare
All our treatments here at Cambridge Contour Clinic conclude with aftercare advice, specific to the treatment received. Treatment dependant; you will be given your aftercare products and walked through the do's and don'ts, which is also emailed to you.
Follow-up
Microneedling is a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier and younger-looking skin. The procedure stimulates the body to start naturally regenerating and repairing the skin, working below the surface in the dermis.
