Why Bruxism treatment?
Bruxism is the involuntary or semi-voluntary clenching and/or grinding of the teeth and/or overactivity of the jaw muscles (often the large masseter muscles and sometimes the temporalis muscles). This can lead to worn teeth, sensitive enamel, muscle pain, jaw-joint (TMJ) discomfort, headaches and facial fatigue.
Standard treatments such as night guards, behavioural therapy, and muscle-relaxant medication are important, but for some patients, the underlying jaw-muscle overactivity remains a challenge. Clinical evidence supports that Bruxism treatment of the active jaw muscles is an option to moderate that overactivity.
How does the treatment work?
The treatment is skillfully administered to the chosen treatment areas.
Nerves trigger sweat glands to produce sweat; The treatment is skillfully administered to chosen treatment areas - precise and tailored to the affected area (underarms, palms, or soles of the feet).
Most clients notice improvements within 1–2 weeks, and effects can last 4–10 months, depending on the area and individual.
