Treatment Session
- The skin is cleansed, and a series of small injections is placed at precise points.
- Treatment times are typically up to 30-45 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated. We allocate extra time so you never feel rushed.
- It is normal to feel minor discomfort. To increase your comfort, in certain circumstances, an anaesthetic cream is used, but most clients do not find this necessary.
- You can typically drive or return to normal activity straight away.

Aftercare & Healing
- All our treatments here at Cambridge Contour Clinic conclude with personalised aftercare advice, tools and products specific to the treatment received. This will aid you in getting the absolute most out of any treatment given, and allow you to fully reap the benefits in the days/weeks to follow.
- You may experience minor bruising, swelling or soreness at the injection site for the first 48 hours.

What are skin boosters? & how do they work?
Skin boosters are an injectable skin remodelling treatment that is used for its subtle but immediate results by replenishing hyaluronic and amino acids, which occur naturally within the body, under the skin; improving the skin’s elasticity, firmness and radiance, giving an overall skin quality.
Though all skin boosters, Profhilo®, Sunekos® and Jalupro® have very subtle differences. Your specialist will explain why one option is recommended and may propose a combined approach with other treatments when appropriate.

Will I look "fake" or "overdone"?

Which is better: Profhilo or a filler?
They do different things. Profhilo improves skin hydration and laxity; fillers add contour/volume. Sometimes used together for best results.
Is treatment painful?
Discomfort is usually mild; topical anaesthetic or local techniques can be used for comfort.
Am I suitable for treatment?
Active skin infection at the site, pregnancy/breastfeeding, certain autoimmune conditions or recent isotretinoin use may exclude treatment, however our specialists will guide you through any contraindications during your consultation.
