General FAQs

We understand the importance of transparency and ensuring that you, our valued clients, are fully informed and able to make the best decision you can. If you would like further information that can not be found below please feel free to contact us.

Do I need a consultation?

In most cases yes. This is important, both for you and for us. During your consultation, we will assess your concern and provide you with your treatment options. We will discuss in detail the process of each suitable treatment, the level of effectiveness, the associated risks, healing time, the cost, aftercare and expected outcome. It is also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions so you will be able to make an informed decision on how you would like to proceed.

How can I book an appointment?

Head over to our book now page or you can get in touch using the details on our “contact us” page and we will be more than happy to help.

What are your cancellation or missed appointment policies?

We operate a 48-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy.

The full charge for your given appointment, plus the resale value of stock/consumables used, is payable if your appointment is cancelled/not attended.

50% of the appointment's minimum charge plus the resale value of stock/consumables used will be payable if the booking is rescheduled within the cancellation period up until the time of your appointment, after which the cancellation fee applies.

You are allowed to reschedule an appointment no more than once. Please note that two unattended appointments will result in any further bookings needing to be made via phone and will be at the discretion of the business.

Late attendance: If you are late for an appointment, we reserve the right not to carry out the appointment as it may have consequences on another client's appointment or impact the service or risk. If we decide it is safe and appropriate to continue treatment, we reserve the right to charge £15 per 5 min interval that the appointment overruns.

Do I need a follow-up appointment?

One free follow-up appointment is offered between 4-12 weeks after your first treatment (treatment dependent). This is to check that the area treated is responding as expected and provide an opportunity to advise.

Follow-up appointments are subject to our cancellation policy, so are chargeable if not attended or rescheduled outside of the allotted time.

What happens if there are complications?

We take great care to minimise the risks of undesirable outcomes such as scarring, post-inflammatory hyper/hypo-pigmentation, and deviations in the formation/topography of the skin. This is, of course, something that is not entirely within our control, and as such, the outcome is something we can not guarantee. However, we minimise the risk of complications in the following ways:

Preemptively:

  • Follow aftercare advice
  • Use your aftercare products
  • Purchase phototherapy sessions (White papers proving its effectiveness in; increasing cellular turnover, promoting healthy skin, reducing bacteria growth, and reducing inflammation)

Retrospectively:

We may offer discounted courses or indeed offer treatments for free; this is something we offer of our own volition and is not protocol or guaranteed. Risk and complications are unavoidable for any elective treatment.

Options include, but are not limited to:

  • further treatment
  • collagen induction therapy
  • mesotherapy
  • micro-needling + RF, Phototherapy
  • Chemical peels
  • ablative skin resurfacing

Do you offer any payment plans?

Amounts over £3,000 can be split between treatments under the current payment plan terms:

  • Any single payment not being less than £500
  • Full payment must be cleared upon completion of your first treatment appointment.
  • Treatment must be completed within 12 months from the first deposit.

Full terms and conditions are included within your quote received post consultation.

Can I be accompanied during appointment?

If you would like a member of staff who identifies as the same gender or birth-given gender to be present during your appointment or equally wish to ensure that you are accompanied during your appointment with one of our specialists, we are happy to fulfill this upon request.

Doing so will likely affect availability so we strongly advise booking via phone as online appointments may not be suitable.

Please note that any individual under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
