Quote & Plan
- You'll be given a fixed, transparent quote before treatment begins - no surprises.
- It is very rare you would need multiple sessions; however, if applicable (e.g. phototherapy aftercare or further multiple lesions addressed), you'll know the exact cost per visit.

Treatment Session
- Local anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area, after which the area is treated. You may hear a faint snap or spark, where the plasma arc touches the lesion, but you should feel minimal discomfort.
- Treatment times typically vary between 60 and 120 minutes. However, for larger numbers of lesions, appointments can be up to 4 hours. We allocate extra time so you never feel rushed.
- Up to 60 minutes of your treatment time is to ensure your anaesthetic has taken full effect.
- Immediately after vapourisation of the lesion(s), a carbon crust (scab) will appear at the treatment site due to the carbonisation of the tissue, and in the case of wrinkle treatment, the area will show some immediate contraction.
- You can typically drive or return to normal activity straight away. In the case of treating the eye area, be aware that swelling may occur, and therefore, you may wish to consider a companion to assist you with your travel.

Aftercare & Healing

- Most areas heal on a superficial level within 4-6 weeks, with the healing scab falling away within 5-10 days. Larger or deeper areas may take slightly longer.

What Is Microplasma & how it works
Also sometimes referred to as electrosurgery, our specialist surgically graded micro-plasma device utilises cutting-edge micro-plasma technology, which involves the ionisation of gases present between the device and tissue to be treated, to create a small electrical beam called a plasma arc. With the accuracy of approximately 0.02 millimetres, the effect of this arc of controlled high-frequency electrical discharge is two-fold:
- Selective Ablation: This arc vaporises - causing sublimation; the process of turning a solid straight into a gas, transferring no heat to surrounding tissues. This treatment is performed to an extremely accurate target, therefore it does not damage the surrounding or deeper structures of the skin.
- Skin Tightening: The plasma arc causes immediate contraction of the skin fibres. This triggers fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, which provides an immediate tightening and lifting effect to the area and promotes skin rejuvenation.
Thanks to the precision of microplasma and the fact that the arc cauterises as it vaporises, there is virtually no bleeding at the treatment site. A very small carbon crust forms, and therefore even the most delicate of areas can be treated with minimal scarring, offering a highly favoured non-surgical option with fewer risks than conventional surgery.
